It is 10:14 in the morning and I am enjoying the morning sunshine at my table. I have a notepad and a pen next to me because I am planning a possible trip to Marfa, TX in August and I've been writing down where we'd like to stay and things we could do. Isaac and I have always wanted to go for the scenery, for the lovely photos we'd take, for the nature and the hikes and for the food. Marfa seems like a wonderful place and some where we'd really like going. My annual trip back to San Francisco sadly isn't going to happen this year because it coincides with apartment move in but I'm okay with that. I'm okay with going to Marfa and seeing the Chihuahuan desert.

I've started bike riding because I finally have my own bike. It's vintage and red, although I have plans to have it painted white. Bike riding is so peaceful. It gets very hot here during the day, upwards to 105 degrees, so I wait until 8 pm to go bike riding and that's the best time. The wind blows past you and the sunlight is golden. I've also (finally) started reading Murakami's new book. I've been too absorbed in studying Japanese history and literature that I never started reading it! But gosh, I can't put it down. So Murakami and strange and weird and wonderful.
I wanted to show you these photos.

I don't usually buy CDs but Isaac picked this one up for me because he knew I'd love the design and he knows I love 60s French pop. It's a really great record with some of my favorite songs and isn't it pretty? This is the tracklist.
1. Alice Dona - Amuse Toi Bien 2. Brigitte Bardot - Moi Je Joue 3. Eileen - Ces Bottes Sont Faites Pour Marcher 4. Claude François - Belles Belles Belles 5. Serge Gainsbourg - Le Sonnet d’Arvers 6. Gillian Hills - Le Paradis pour Toi 7. Johnny Hallyday - Ya Ya Twist 8. Jacques Dutronc - Et Moi, et Moi, et Moi 9. Jacqueline Taïeb - 7 Heures du Matin 10. Clothilde - Fallait Pas Écraser la Queue du Chat 11. Les Chabroll’s - N’y Touches Pas 12. Cosette - Idéalisation 13. Henri Salvador - Le Lion Est Mort Ce Soir 14. Adamo - En Blue Jeans et Blouson d’Cuir 15. Sandie Shaw - Toujours un Coin Qui Me Rappelle (There’s Always Something There to Remind Me)
