Lately I've been dreaming of having a flower garden, all summer actually. But it's something I find very complicated because I don't know anything about gardening at all. Good thing I work at a library because I've found quite a bit of books that seem to be helpful. I have a backyard area and patio that I think would be good for a small flower garden. It needs a lot of work, though I can just picture how nice it would look if I could clean it up. There's a swinging chair and patio set I've seen at a store around here that I really love. I picture container gardens on the patio with things from Terrain. I've been favoriting many pictures on Flickr for inspiration. By the way, please click the photos and they will take you to the photographer and their Flickr page.
Ohh these are beautiful. I just walked through an organic botanical garden in southern Korea today and took a ton of photos. I'll have to post the photos soon! P.S. Glad to see you back!
Last year I joined my school's horticulture society as a complete newbie. Now I practically live in the greenhouse. You're definitely doing the right by starting in your library - but you also don't want to over think it! Trial and error. :)
oh i wish i had a garden, i would love it to be full of post of beautiful colored flowers and trees. These images are beautiful, it makes me want to go to Kew botanical gardens right now!
I gardened two years back and it was successful. I had tons of flowers and vegetables growing. but then I got a job and the scorching la sun killed them off because I wasn't home every 3 hours to water them. but lately all these flower garden pictures have been inspiring me again and I've been on the lookout for wildflower seeds. they are easy to grow and you can start small..

Ever since I've purchased a flower shop, my biggest thrill has been planting my backyard, and being able to prune for next season.
